Designation: Hiring for General Ledger (walkin)

Job Description
We are looking for candidates with experience in General Ledger.
Position Description: General Ledger reporting / Analysis
Essential Qualifications: Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce / Post Graduate Diploma in Finance / Semi qualified CA or ICWAI / MBA finance
Technical Qualifications / Experience: Technical know-how in MS Office Suite / Work experience in any finance ERP preferred
Experience: 2-4 years experience in finance and accounting
Organization Structure: Report to the Accounting Team Manager / Operations Manager
Work Schedule: Ability to work flexible schedule during day, night and weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
-Work on General Ledger, account reconciliation including bank reconciliation statements, Payroll accounting for US companies
Perform advanced reconciliations / prepare monthly deliverables to the Management group for various financial reports
-Perform ratio analysis / logical reasoning / test data in GL to ensure accuracy
-Prepare monthly, the production site performance reports and Balance Sheet reconciliations
-Monthly financial submissions to Hyperion / Essbase
-Complete all assigned jobs as per committed time, in an accurate and client specific manner
-Update work allocation matrix on completion of tasks on hand to measure performance / Prepare monthly KPI metrics
-Escalate matter to the next level of management for pending issues
-Adhere to information security and control procedures
Knowledge & Skills:
-Work experience in GL area
-Possess excellent double entry accounting knowledge
-Good exposure to concepts in finance and accounting
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Good MS office skills. Knowledge of Macro programming in excel will be an added advantage
-Good team player attitude
